Louis Vuitton probably had the most sickest venue so far this year for their 2016 spring collection. The venue was located in Palm Springs but wait here's the thing; the fashion screening took place in Bob and Dolores Hope's space age house. This house is worth $25 million dollars but hey its definitely worth taking the ride up that steep hill to arrive at this gorgeous setting. In Louis Vuitotons new collection, Nicolas Ghesquiére displayed a very diverse set of style within his garments but he also had a very diverse set of models that would display his pieces. According to Ghesquiére, he was was intrigued and also inspired on how the mansion was constructed and where the location was and he wanted to represent that in his Palm Springs collection. And the crazy thing is, when each model walked out towards the audience all the pieces that were strutting down the runway was like going back in time in the 60's and 70's and then transitioning towards the future. I thought the whole idea of being around a desert and having a "go back in time" feel in his pieces was the best idea thus far this year in the fashion industry. I applaud Nicolas for thinking outside of the box and stepping out from his comfort zone. Here are some of my favorite looks in Louis Vuittons Spring/Summer collection!
