Last night I witnessed a speech that was absolutely legendary, necessary, and memorable by the one and only Jesse Williams. For those of you that don't know Jesse Williams is well known for his tv show role in Grey's Anatomy by Shonda Rhymes but he is also well known for his activist role within our humanity. Sunday night, Williams received the Humanitarian Award from the BET Awards of 2016 and let me tell you; it was well deserved. I was so mesmerized by how passionate he was about black lives, the world, and just life in general. He made everyone realize and reflect that we as black people have to continue to push through all our problems and barriers that we go through on a daily basis in order to live in todays society. The system that we live in today may have told everybody that we are "free" but in reality we aren't really free due to all the fiasco that has been going on such as police brutality, mass shootings, and racially profiling young adults. Williams definitely impacted me in a way where we as young adults can not continue to let the system take control over us. I am very proud of all the achievements that Jesse Williams has achieved so far within his life and he is definitely making his mark in history as a civil rights leader this generation that will leave an imprint forever.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day
It's his day today. He paved the way for not only African Americans but for everyone else. It's sad that we as people are still having racial issues but we've came a long way because of this man right here. I just want to take a moment and thank him for all he has done. Much love to him and all the Civil Rights Leaders that have paved the way for all of us.

Being Young and Black: Tamir Rice
Should we all continue to be "surprised" on what the system has declared to be a reasonable outcome? I'm definetly not surprised that another cop got away with murder. It's very sad to witness and hear that killing young black African Americans is becoming a pattern and it's very sad that many people are getting to the point that hearing the verdicts are not a surprise anymore.
I still can't fathom that people are saying "Tamir shouldn't have been playing with a toy gun or not". Are you serious? We were all kids at a time were we all had toy weapons in our household. So who are you to tell a child that he shouldn't have a a toy gun or not. We have grown people going into stores trying out guns; and let me be clear those guns that they are holding are sure enough REAL. Let me say this; if a police officer has to pull out their weapon to defend themselves towards an unarmed person, that police officer should not be a police officer AT ALL. I pray for the mother of Tamir Rice and I pray for every African American individual that steps out the door every day. White, Black, Asian and etc be safe. There will be light at the end of the tunnel for us and humanity. Everyone should be safe and hug their loved ones even closer than ever.

#PrayforParis
I'm in utter shock on what had happen on November 13th in Paris. The place where you can find love has been caught off guard yesterday due to an ISIS terrorist attack. I'm very upset that all the innocent people that have lost their lost their lives yesterday. No one should ever deserve that. We all should take the time and send our prayers all the way to all the citizens in Paris to be safe. We should all keep everyone closer than ever now. We should all just pray for humanity in general. Prayers to all the family members that have lost a loved one yesterday💕💕
“This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the Universal values we share.”
Barack Obama {11/13/15; Paris Attacks}
Paris you are in our hearts.

The Crop Top Debate
There has been a lot of heat regarding a magazine article that Oprah Magazine has published about people with flat stomachs are only allowed to wear crop tops. In my opinion, people should be obligated to wear what they want and what ever they want as long as it fits. People should wear crop tops even if they are comfortable with their own bodies. The topic of body shaming has been the topic of discussion for the last couple of months and it's been a shame hearing about all the nonsense on what people should and shouldn't wear. Women around the world have been taking a stance on social media by posting photos of themselves with crop tops on. What do you think about this situation? Should everyone wear crop tops?
